Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced it's 15 members squad for upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. This tournament will be played in Australia in the month of October and November. The Bangladesh Cricket team didn't do well in recently held Asia Cup 2022. This is the main reason that so many changes have been made in Sri Lanka squad for T20 World Cup.
Sri Lanka's All rounder and vice captain Mahmudullah who was struggling completely in Asia Cup, did not find a place in this team. Mahmudullah has been dropped from the team after taking the opinion of all the board members. Apart from this, Anamul Haque, Mahadi Hasan, Mohammad Parvez Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim , who played in the Asia Cup, are not part of this team.

Bangladesh team for T20 World Cup will be lead by Shakib Al Hasan, and it has 14 more members which includes Sabbir Rahman, Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Yasir Ali, Afif Hossain, Mossadek Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Najmul Hossain, Nasum Ahmed.
